Maintenance

The N. W. White & Co. Service Facilities are responsible for maintaining a fleet of over 230 Class Eight heavy duty trucks plus related support equipment.  N. W. White & Co. strives to present the safest, most efficient and best appearing fleets in our vocations to the travelling public.  We achieve this by a rigorous inspection and repair process which includes the drivers, dispatchers, field supervisors, fuel attendant, maintenance crews and management.  Our maintenance personnel are certified in many areas including the following:

  • Brake Certification
  • Federal and State Inspection
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Air Conditioning and Ventilation
  • Various Engine, Transmission and Differential Certifications
  • Trouble Shooting
  • Welding and Torch Work

The various shops operate on a flexible hours schedule to arrange maintenance needs around our customers' needs.  This will includes weekends, holidays and extended daily hours.

We are able to assist in controlling expenses to our operation by performing over 95% of all maintenance in-house.  This allows for better cycle times and reduces overhead costs which allow us to pass the savings along to our customers.

We have the ability to cover service calls far from our home bases which makes our dispatching more efficient for our customers.

N. W. White & Co. maintenance shops participate in on-going training and updating of our tooling needs.  Various vendors and manufacturers participate in this O.E.M. training to keep us on the leading edge.  We are fortunate to participate in product testing for many manufacturers due to the high level of quality in our maintaining of our equipment.

We do all of this to protect the safety and well being of our friends, neighbors, drivers and the travelling public.
